Land O’ Lakes, Pasco County, Florida

COMMUNITY

Land O’ Lakes, Florida is an unincorporated community in Pasco County. It is located on what has become known as the “Nature Coast.” This term refers to the area from Clearwater to the Ochlockonee Bay. The term became an official reference by proclamation of Florida’s governor.

The natural wonders along the Nature Coast include an abundance of wildlife including 19 endangered or threatened species protected in their natural habitat. This area is also known for its miraculous sunsets over the Gulf of Mexico. In addition to its proximity to the Ocean, Land O’ Lakes truly is a land of beautiful lakes and an ecosystem only a lake community could offer.

Land O’ Lakes residents have worked hard to create balance. They seek balance in work, play, recreation and nature. Most consider life in Land O’ Lakes to be “country living” at its best because Land O’ Lakes is in the heart of Pasco County and offers convenient access to three major shopping centers and close proximity to the thriving metropolis of Tampa via Highway 41. People who live in this beautiful suburb of Tampa enjoy clean country living along the Florida coast.
Light manufacturing is an industry well-suited to Land O' Lakes. Warehouse centers and corporate institutions provide job opportunities and stimulate the economy here.
Land O’ Lakes is just 19 miles from Tampa and 97 miles from Orlando. St. Petersburg is just 41 miles away all with access on major freeways.
